Anyone interested in fresh, local food, dining Gluten Free, or learning about the G-Free lifestyle should attend the "Eat Well Event"

G-Free Foodie, a resource for those living a Gluten Free life and eating well, is holding their first "Eat Well Event" featuring local food sources & Gluten Free options on April 30th, 2011. The "Eat Well Event" will be free for consumers to attend, and aims to educate the public about local, healthy foods, how to shop locally to support the community, and the Gluten Free diet. The public is invited to join G-Free Foodie on Saturday, April 30th from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Birdstone Winery.
"We're celebrating Central California's bounty and educating people about the Gluten Free diet," said KC Pomering, Founder of G-Free Foodie. "Anyone who is interested in fresh, local food, dining Gluten Free, or learning about the G-Free lifestyle is welcome to attend." Pomering said the first 300 guests will receive goodie bags filled with coupons, samples and more. In addition to sampling and shopping for local and Gluten Free foods, guests can taste wines from Birdstone Winery and G-Free Foodie will annouce the winners of their first national Gluten Free Recipe Contest.
Pomering said the G-Free Foodie team and readers share ideas and recipes via G-Free Foodie's Facebook page, on blogs and the G-Free Foodie website. G-Free Foodie also provides a searchable US database of Gluten Free Restaurants, free conversions of traditional recipes to Gluten Free, "Gluten Free Ultimate Solution" Apps for Apple and Android devices and Gluten Free Cooking Videos on YouTube.
