When a watch, even a name brand watch needs a link removed or added, a person usually would have only one choice; to special order the original expensive watch band pins to make a watch wearable again. Because we had so many people asking for these specific types of watch band pins, we went out and found a replacement assortment to help the jeweler and watchmaker make timelier, less costly repairs and keep a happy customer
There are many reasons people often make adjustments to their watch band; to add or remove links including original fitting after purchasing, heavy wear and tear, weight loss/gain, seasonal fitting, and changing a watch band for style. You would not be the first person who would loose or misplace the watch band parts after they have been adjusted. After learning of the hardships of obtaining special order genuine parts, many watches are left unused in a drawer at home. Some watches contain many links and pins so the costs can add up quickly depending on the watch band and most people are hesitant to special order expensive parts for every time they needed watch band adjustment. These new watch pins will act as a direct replacement for most watch bands, making watch band link removal a less expensive task and allowing for use of a favorite timepiece again.
Usually, the only style assortment of pins and pipes that were available were solid and fit through the middle of the band link. Now, these new pins (that include two sleeves that fit over the watch pin) fit on by placing the pin through the middle of the watch band link, then closing the ends with the pipe that are tapped into place. The pipes are designed with a split that works like a clamp holding the pin in place. This improved design makes the pin more secure and prevents loss of a watch and or watch band link. They are rugged and add durability to any wrist worn timepiece. These stainless steel pins are re-usable but we suggest using a new pipe/clamp to assure a good safe fitting watch band for everyday use.
These new band pins are also designed to replace expensive genuine parts that can charge up to 3 times more for replacement watch band pins. The watch pins will fit all name brand and generic watch types including; Seiko, Citizen, Pulsar, Bulova, Omega, and almost any brand watches.
The new assortment contains 45 band pins (in 9 sizes from MM to MM) and 90 pipes/tubes (in 3 sizes from MM to MM) with an introductory price of $34.99. The assortment includes 135 total pieces of all styles available today and refills are available individually in packs of 10pc. Pins come in 4 different thickness and can be cut to fit any band that takes a friction style watch band pin including ladies and men’s watches.
We offer a simple guide online on how to use these new pins; We also offer additional guides on how to replace watch bands and how to use the watch band tools and parts that will help size watch bands.
