Painting smiles to children’s faces, author Dina De Filippis charms the literary world with the release of Mrs. Nguyen’s Garden. Published through Xlibris, it follows the exciting adventures of three rabbits who unwittingly step into trouble upon trespassing into a garden.
Deep inside the woods close to the edge of a golf course lives a family of rabbits, a mama and her three children: Tito, Ziggy and Gigi. One day, the three little bunnies are asked by their mama to go search for their own food. Their mother cautiously reminds them in a firm but loving voice to stay out of trouble, to read the "no trespassing" signs, and to only eat fresh grass and tender leaves to avoid aching tummies.
So Tito, Ziggy, and Gigi hop happily looking for a new adventure until they find the very pretty house of Mrs. Nguyen. Since they have not seen any “no trespassing” signs in her garden, they begin eating the luscious pansies. They like it so much that they visit the house over and over, but when Mrs. Nguyen finds out about this, trouble begins for the three bunnies. Apparently, the very frustrated Mrs. Nguyen is not willing to let those bunnies ruin her garden. What will happen now? Young readers will find out as they delight in Mrs. Nguyen’s Garden.
Bursting with amusing and vibrant illustrations and lush with a wonderful storyline, Mrs. Nguyen’s Garden is something the little ones will truly enjoy over and over. It can also be a good tool for parent-child bonding.
This book will be featured at the 2011 Bologna Book Exhibit in Bologna, Italy, on March 28-31, 2011.
