Growing up and Living in Hell, a new book by Robert Messer, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Robert Messer wrote this story to release a dark family secret. His father had an alcohol problem and was abusive. Messer’s family was very lucky that no one was killed and that they all lived through this terrible experience. He believes that telling this story can help someone who needs to get away from an abusive loved one. Messer hopes that this book will raise awareness about the dangers of an abusive home.

About the Author
Robert Messer lives in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with one of his sons now. He has two sons but his other son lives with his mother in North Carolina. Messer doesn’t do that much in his life but his life is a happy one and it is filled with love as well. His son and job keep him going and even though he’s a sick man today he still makes time for his family and everyone else too. Messer loves to take long walks and play games. He sometimes likes to go down and sit by the river.

Messer has not written any other books and was inspired to write his story whenever he would see women and children abused by loved ones. This reminded him of how hard it was growing up within an abusive environment.

Growing Up and Living in Hell is a 64-page paperback with a retail price of $12.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-8253-7. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
