Kepner-Tregoe Names Ray Baxter as CEO

Manufacturing Industry Expert to Lead International Consultancy

Kepner-Tregoe (KT), an international consulting and training services firm, announced Ray Baxter has been named its new CEO. He will move into this role on April 1, 2011.

Baxter was most recently KT’s chairman of the board, a position he held for the past year-and-a-half, while serving on KT’s board for the past five years. Andy Cook, a current KT board member, will move into the Chairman of the Board slot.

“Ray will be responsible for increasing the value KT brings to its clients. He brings a deep understanding of our clients’ needs as well as extensive mastery in the use of KT’s principals,” said KT Interim CEO Richard E. Van Camp. “This is an exciting time for KT and our clients. In my 25 years with the company, I can’t think of a time when we’ve had stronger, more capable leadership from top to bottom committed to our success and that of our clients.”

Baxter has logged more than 30 years of experience in the food processing industry, including 22 years as CEO of the $300 million Interbake Foods LLC baked goods manufacturing division of the $20 billion public company, George Weston Ltd. George Weston Ltd. is one of the largest food processing and distribution companies in North America.

Prior to Interbake, Baxter held management positions with Frito Lay and Castle & Cooke, and was in the U.S. Air Force. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard University and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan.
