DS Waters® (water.com), a bottled water delivery company, strengthened its partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® during 2010 and is pleased to present a contribution of $100,000 to help discover and deliver the cures to breast cancer.

Representatives from DS Waters’ brands deliver pink all year long, not only in the month of October. For every new qualified customer who signs up for the Komen Budget Plan, DS Waters donates $30 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $700,000 through 2016. Participating brands include Alhambra®, Abita Springs®, Athena®, Belmont Springs®, Crystal Springs®, Hinckley Springs®, Kentwood Springs®, Mount Olympus®, Nursery® Water, Sierra Springs® and Sparkletts®.

Expanding the Komen Budget Plan to include a customer referral program generated additional home and office deliveries of 5-gallon water coolers. Regional brands such as Kentwood Springs linked the Komen offer to local events, such as LSU baseball, inviting new customers to demonstrate their passion for a good cause.

“Adding the Susan G. Komen for the Cure logo to our established brands truly strengthened our promotional offers,” stated DS Waters CEO Dillon Schickli. “We found out that our customers are just as committed as we are to finding the cures to breast cancer.”

In July, DS Waters acquired Athena brand bottled water (water.com/Athena-water) to further its commitment to the fight against breast cancer. Adding an additional brand dedicated to breast cancer awareness, research and education gives customers and associates another outlet to contribute to the cause.

In 2011, DS Waters will continue to provide water for participants at select Susan G. Komen Races for the Cure and other activities throughout the country this year, and is honored to be a strong partner in the fight against breast cancer.
