On Sunday, May 1st Team Fox Members Beth Hochstein and Sharon Greif are hosting the inaugural Dance Party for Parkinson’s at Pacha in New York City. With an open bar for the first hour and a silent auction and raffle items galore, it’s sure to be one of the most exciting family-friendly charity events of the Spring.

Performers include Momz N’ Da Hood, The Get ‘Em Girls, break-dancing with Brooklyn’s Finest and a special performance by singer Keisha Williams. There are going to be dozens of vendors as diverse as face painters, balloon sculptors, magicians and even a caricaturist. And as for the food? Expect carts of cotton candy, smoothies and frozen coffee drinks by Maui Wowi.

The whole crew at Team Fox is excited for this breakthrough event from two of our most active members. Beth and Sharon have both participated in many fundraising events and are thrilled to be spearheading this Dance Party. Previously Sharon and her husband Roy hosted a golf outing that raised over $200,000.

Team Fox was created in January 2006 as a way for the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support their leaders who have personally contributed to finding bold new ways to raise money for Parkinson’s research. Since Team Fox was launched, members have raised over $12 million towards finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Pacha is one of most popular venues in New York City that often works with charities. Though it only opened its’ doors five years ago, Pacha quickly established itself as the preeminent venue in Manhattan. With scenic views of the Hudson River and over 30,000 square feet, this has been a go-to place for every group from Goldman Sachs to the American Cancer Association to the North Shore Animal League America.
