During their 1st season in the football league’s top division for 39 years, Blackpool Football Club fans have something else to cheer about, after being awarded ‘WinkBall Premier League Fans of the Season 2010-11 Award’. WinkBall.com, the UK’s no. 1 video website, were delighted to award this distinction to Blackpool fans. The award was personally presented by Blackpool striker Luke Varney to famous Seasider fan Daniel Hogg aka Hoggy the Blackpool Drummer.

Presenting the award to Hoggy was Blackpool star striker Luke Varney. Luke laid great praise onto Blackpool fans saying they were: “a massive help throughout the season - great credit must go to them”:
