As he pens down his reminiscences, he is able to share to all the lessons he has learned through the years and the people who have become significant parts of his life.

In “A Belated Christmas,” he shares a valuable learning, “I figure that I had spent about eight dollars of my hard earned money, but it was worth it.” In “A Note from the Past,” he expresses his love for his wife, “I will always remember that day in November when we joined together our life. You’ve made these years a heaven on earth, I’ve loved you, my wonderful wife.” In “Heroes,” he gives honor to those who died for freedom, “Salute now the honored dead whose spirits now have rest. Long may it now be said, 'They died in freedom’s quest.'”
