Producing 20,640 lumens of bright and far reaching light, the Magnalight LEDP10W-240E LED Light Bar is one of the largest in Magnalight’s new LEDP10W series of LED light emitters and an ideal choice for operators seeking a powerful, efficient and highly controllable light source. Drawing only 240 watts at 20 amps when connected to a 12 volt electrical system, this LED light bar’s 24 Cree Xlamp ® LEDs produce a light beam that exceeds 1,600 feet in length and reaches 200 feet in width when configured with a 20 degree beam spread for distance. An optional 40 degree beam spread produces a flood beam light pattern that distributes more light closer to the fixture and makes these units ideal for use as work area lights. Waterproof to 3 meters and sealed against intrusion of dust and dirt, these IP68 rated light bars can also withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, making them extremely durable and suitable for use in environments that experience wide changes in temperature and humidity. These units incorporate advanced LED drivers that use Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology to provide an unparalleled ability to manage heat. The duty cycle of the electrical current reaching each LED in these units is automatically adjusted according to each LED’s core temperature. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up 100% of their capacity without the overheating that can cause premature LED failure. As a result, these LEDs essentially regulate their own temperature while producing the maximum amount of light possible without any loss of LED longevity. The LEDP10W series of extreme environment LED lights also offers added versatility through the addition of an external control wire which lets operators tap into the PWM drive controller with an external pulse generator or dimmer switch, allowing them to set the light to flash, dim or brighten however they desire. This ability to precisely control the operation of these lights makes them an attractive light source for operators in industrial and manufacturing settings where machine visioning systems are used and control of lighting operation is critical. These LED light emitters are also able to sense and adjust to a wide range of input voltages making them capable of operating on 9 to 46VDC without modifications or the need for transformers. A versatile mounting system allows these units to be mounted to either flat surfaces or round tubes while an extruded aluminum housing and polycarbonate lenses provide exceptional strength and durability. Finally, these led lights are designed to work with a wide variety of power supplies, including the Magnalight DCP series for operation for AC voltages ranging from 110 volts to 277 volts VAC.
