Our aim for 2011 was to create a caravan that would appeal to both existing customers and new caravanners, and all the feedback from the public shows suggests that this year, we have really got it right with our Amara range.

Hull-based Coachman Caravans, one of the UK’s leading caravan manufacturers is celebrating the success of its 2011 Amara range following praise from both caravanners and industry magazines alike.
The Amara range was completely redesigned for 2011, and has already won two awards from top industry magazines. Named Tourer Range of the Year 2011 by Scottish Caravanner, the Amara range was commended by the magazine for its build quality, innovative design and top quality fittings.
Following a rigorous assessment of build quality, design ideas, storage and value for money, the Amara was also named Best Family Caravan over £13,000 by Go Caravan.
In addition to awards from within the caravan industry, the Amara has also impressed caravanners at retail shows around the UK, as Jim Hibbs, Coachman’s Managing Director explains:
“Our aim for 2011 was to create a caravan that would appeal to both existing customers and new caravanners, and all the feedback from the public shows suggests that this year, we have really got it right with our Amara range.
“Industry professionals are commending the Amara for its build quality and value for money, which makes me really proud to be a part of Coachman. Our policy of continued expansion and investment in machinery, design and our staff has helped us to achieve this, and orders from caravanners for the Amara have been really strong across the entire range.”
Coachman Caravans was established in 1986 and continues to operate as one of the leading caravan manufacturers in the industry. The company employs 145 members of staff and strives to produce caravans of the highest quality whilst providing superior after sales service. Their range includes the Amara, Pastiche, VIP and Laser.
