Narconon Arrowhead, one of the world’s largest and most successful rehabilitation programs, has set out on a drug education campaign to help battle the recent up rise in drug abuse around the country and especially throughout the Midwest region.

Since the beginning of 2011, Narconon Arrowhead’s experienced drug education team has been vigorously working to spread the knowledge about the true dangers of drug use. In the last month, the team has had the highest community drug education delivery in their history. In fact, during this past week, the Narconon drug education team addressed numerous employees and organizational partners, speaking at four different locations.

Narconon started off their campaign with a Juvenile Detention and Probation Opinion Leader’s presentation which was sponsored by Drug Free World in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“We delivered to a very large group of students and their response was incredible,” said John Bitinas, Director of Drug Education for Narconon Arrowhead.

Directly following, two members of the Narconon Arrowhead drug education team traveled to Tulsa again to speak at a Women’s and Children Center through a program created for mothers who need assistance getting off drugs.

On the same day, a Narconon Arrowhead Drug Educator traveled down south to the state Texas to speak to the Winning the Fight organization. Winning the Fight was created by a mother from Texas whose son overdosed on heroin. The organization is working to raise drug awareness around the area in response to nine deaths that were attributed to local drug overdoses. Narconon Arrowhead has agreed to assist this organization through continued help with drug education and prevention lectures and as a rehabilitation resource for anyone in need of help.

“Winning the Fight is an amazing organization that has really helped raise awareness to this growing problem in this area.” said Bitinas. “We are really grateful to be able to assist them and show them the true dangers of drugs and plan to continue to educate more and more people on drug abuse throughout the Midwest.”

Narconon Arrowhead has many more venues scheduled in the coming weeks where they will offer solutions through drug prevention as well as drug rehabilitation help for substance abusers.
