We’re passionate about pies and fanatical about rugby, and we’re delighted to celebrate British Pie Week with both the Welsh & Irish fans.

As the crowds flock to Cardiff to see the 6 Nations showdown between Wales vs. Ireland this Saturday, the official suppliers to the stadium, Peter’s, will be bringing their Pie-Mobile to Westgate Street, offering fans tasty treats to help put them in fine voice as they cheer on their team.

This weekend, fans will be able to enjoy a selection of Peter’s pies which include the famous Premier Steak and Brains Ale and the British Pie award winning Premier Steak & Kidney Pie.

Clare Morgan, Marketing Controller at Peter’s, said: “We’re passionate about pies and fanatical about rugby, and we’re delighted to celebrate British Pie Week with both the Welsh & Irish fans.”

The secret to Peter’s taste success is that its pies are baked slowly at very low temperatures to allow the different textures and ingredients to mingle together perfectly. Its award-winning pies are encased in flaky, crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth pastry which comprises of 64 layers for unbeatable lightness.

Peter’s will be offering samples from the Pie-Mobile on Westgate Street from 3.30pm on Saturday. Hungry rugby fans are encouraged to arrive early to get a taste of the Peter’s line-up.
