Searching For the Sunny Side, a new book by Cheryl Madeleine Lodico, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Like the phoenix that springs new life from its own ashes, Sandra Janekowitz reinvents herself in the autumn of 1960 when she leaves her unhappy past behind and attends a teachers' college in upstate New York.

Does changing her name and dating a handsome English professor bring her any closer to the happiness for which she has been searching all her life? Will she ever learn to appreciate those in her life who have shown they truly care about her?

A retired English teacher, Cheryl Madeleine Lodico lives in Whitestone, New York, with her husband, Manny, and their cat, Snowball. Their adult children and three grandchildren live nearby.

Ms. Lodico writes both prose and poetry when she is not drawing, reading, engaging in volunteer work for the community, and spending time with her family.

Searching For the Sunny Side is a 164-page paperback with a retail price of $17.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-6436-6. RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania published it.
