Four QHR Hospital Clients in North Carolina Recognized by Health Grades, Business North Carolina

Four full-service Quorum Health Resources (QHR) hospital clients in North Carolina have been recognized for being among the “Best Hospitals in North Carolina.” The hospital rankings, based on Medicare data and compiled by Health Grades, Inc. for Business North Carolina magazine, were published in this month’s issue.

To see these hospitals – three of which have been QHR clients for nearly 30 years – achieve such success is tremendously satisfying.

Four full-service Quorum Health Resources (QHR) hospital clients in North Carolina have been recognized for being among the “Best Hospitals in North Carolina.” The hospital rankings, based on Medicare data and compiled by Health Grades, Inc. for Business North Carolina magazine, were published in this month’s issue.

QHR hospital clients recognized include:

  • Johnston Health in Smithfield, which ranked seventh in the Stroke category;
  • Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, which ranked fourth in the Prostatectomy category;
  • Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy, which ranked third in the Pulmonary category, seventh in the Overall Gastrointestinal Services category, seventh in the Gastrointestinal Surgery category, eighth in the Gastrointestinal Medical Treatment category, and second in the Critical Care Services category; and
  • Rutherford Hospital, Inc. in Rutherfordton, which ranked second in the General Surgery category and fifth in the Gastrointestinal Surgery category.
