Since this unique rebate program was established in 2004, participating QHR client hospitals have enjoyed more than $9.6 million in premium returns, a great value to our clients.
Brentwood, TN (Vocus/PRWEB) March 15, 2011
Fourteen Quorum Health Resources (QHR) hospital clients will receive checks totaling nearly $2.5 million in March. The payments – ranging from just over $47,000 to nearly $500,000 – will be awarded as a part of a unique and innovative partnership between the hospital management company and Gallagher Healthcare Insurance Services.
Under the QHR/Gallagher Retro Insurance Program, hospitals in the group that experience less than projected risk management expenses are eligible for a premium return of up to 50 percent. The checks issued to the QHR group this month will reflect premium refunds for the year 2006.
“Through QHR’s program with Gallagher, our hospital clients are not only able to access the professional liability/general liability insurance they need, but also benefit financially when our group meets its risk management goals,” said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. “Since this unique rebate program was established in 2004, participating QHR client hospitals have enjoyed more than $9.6 million in premium returns, a great value to our clients.”
QHR has worked with Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, the fourth largest insurance brokerage and risk management services firm worldwide, since 2002.
