National Steak and Poultry Wins Big At The International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas By Cooking Pizza’s, Sampling Products and Collecting Over 100 Leads

The International Pizza Expo held in Las Vegas was a great success for National Steak and Poultry. Pizzas were cooked, products were on display and 100 leads were gathered. Visitors from all over the world were able to meet the National Steak and Poultry team and make plans to explore menu opportunities

“In my ten years of participating in the International Pizza Expo; this year I saw more buyers interested in trying new items to build their profitability.” Said Gerry Niemer, National Steak and Poultry Midwest Broadline Sales Manager.

The International Pizza Expo held in Las Vegas on March 1st through 3rd, 2011 was a huge success for National Steak and Poultry. This was the best year ever with over ten thousand in attendance, 900 hundred exhibitors and eighty educational sessions there was a lot for everyone to see and do. There were many special events including the International Pizza Challenge, World’s Best Pizza Maker and concluding with the World Pizza Games®

National Steak and Poultry has been an exhibitor at the International Pizza Expo for 6 years. Each year they are one of the few exhibitors who cook pizza all day long using their own products. This year they served a Steakhouse Philly Pizza, Steak and Potato Pizza and a Barbecue Chicken Pizza. Featuring NSP Fully Cooked Philly Steak (86508), NSP Fully Cooked Steakhouse Peppercorn Beef Strips (86408), and NSP Fully Cooked Al Pastor Chicken (70308) respectively. NSP has managed to close deals with both restaurants and manufacturers, resulting in a bi-winning partnership. In spite of the oven not working the first day, they were still able to gather over 100 new leads; by far the most ever collected.

“This year’s expo was outstanding. We met with existing customers and many new prospects. Our Chef, Nancy Jose – Cecil was able to sit down with a prospects’ research and development team to talk specifics about our capabilities and their needs.” Said Mike Wilson , National Steak and Poultry Vice President of Sales.
