Vernon Ingram has been appointed President of ElanTech Systems, Inc. effective March 13, 2011. A retired US Navy pilot, Ingram served 24 years in a number of challenging positions including Executive Officer of a Naval Air Station, Commanding Officer of a Patrol Squadron, Chief of the Reconnaissance Operations Division on the Joint Staff, and Director of the Special Programs Division on the Navy Staff under the Director of Naval Intelligence before moving to industry. Ingram has in-depth operational, program management and engineering knowledge of C4ISR systems.
Most recently, Ingram served as Director of Navy Programs and a principal engineer at L-3 Communications, Mission Solutions, STRATIS. Ingram is considered an expert in airborne, surface ship, and submarine reconnaissance as well as Distributed Common Ground/Surface Systems (DCGS).
