To celebrate 100 years of Chevrolet, Stutz and the Indianapolis 500, the 3rd Annual Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance Committee is looking for vintage and classic entries.

May 17 Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance spotlights Rolls-Royce, Stutz, Chevrolet and 100 years of the Indy 500

To celebrate 100 years of Chevrolet, Stutz and the Indianapolis 500, the 3rd Annual Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance Committee is looking for vintage and classic entries in the following categories:

  •     Original Unmodified Chevrolets (in any condition) from 1911 - 1970
  •     Stutz and HCS Automobiles
  •     Indianapolis Pace Cars and Race Cars

Other featured classes are:

  •     Micro Cars
  •     Orphans
  •     Metal-Bodied Station Wagons from 1950-1969
  •     Brass and Nickel Era Cars through 1924

To be held Sun., May 17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Marin County Fairgrounds, Marin Civic Center, San Rafael, the 2011 Marin Sonoma Concours will showcase 200 exotic and rare vehicles, including those listed above, the Rolls-Royce marque, vintage travel trailers and campers, and classic wooden boats. The proceeds from the event benefit Hospice By The Bay, the non-profit, regional Bay Area hospice and palliative care provider, which serves Marin, San Francisco, Northern San Mateo, and Sonoma counties. Hospice By The Bay’s professional grief counseling is also open to any member of the community who is coping with the loss of a loved one.
