Receipt Bank Releases iPhone App To Empty Desks, Drawers And Jacket Pockets Of Receipts

Most people fail to claim back all the money they are owed in expenses. Receipt Bank is here to help, and the new Receipt Bank iPhone app makes it even easier.

For some people receipts are just annoying bits of paper. For others, receipts are annoying bits of paper that are worth money.

For the millions of freelancers, contractors and small businesses in the UK, receipts are needed to claim back expenses from clients and from HM Revenue & Customs. And, of course, receipts are also (reluctantly) collected by many employees of larger companies and organisations.

But only a fraction of expenses are successfully claimed. Receipts are lost, forgotten in trouser pockets, washed in the washing machine, left in the back of drawers, etc.

Receipt Bank gathers receipts, scans them and does the data entry for its clients. Saving them time and safely storing all their expenses so they can reclaim all they are entitled to.

The Receipt Bank iPhone app - launched today - provides an easy way to scan and store receipts without collecting the paper! With a couple of clicks a receipt is captured and added to Receipt Bank.

Michael Wood, Director of Receipt Bank, says: ‘So many people are walking around with wallets stuffed full of receipts. We're delighted to be able to help them turn these receipts back into money without the usual hassle!’
