The National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association Will Hold their 16th Annual NYC Benefit, Hosted by MSNBC's Thomas Roberts

MSNBC's Thomas Roberts and more than two dozen special guests from the media & entertainment world will help celebrate NLGJA's 16th annual New York Benefit on Thursday, March 24th.

The National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) will hold their 16th Annual Benefit on Thursday, March 24, from 6:30-9:30pm at the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams store in SoHo. This year's event will be hosted by MSNBC anchor, Thomas Roberts. Other special guests include NBC's Ann Curry, Frank Bruni of the New York Times, JuJu Chang of ABC News, HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell and many more.

The event is a fundraiser for NLGJA, as well as an opportunity to award two scholarships, the Leroy Aarons Scholarship and the Kay Longcope Scholarship. Both scholarships – worth $5,000 each – are awarded each year to deserving students who are dedicated to furthering NLGJA's mission of fostering fair and accurate coverage of LGBT issues.
