Education Professionals Interested in Speaking at the Summit Still Have Until April 5 to Submit Proposals

The First Annual School Improvement Innovation Summit, July 11-13, is seeking presentation submittals from all educators to share their professional development best practices. Presentations should include information on how the district/school used professional development to improve student, teacher, school, and/or district performance. The deadline for submissions is April 5, 2011 for this first annual conference for users of the award-winning PD 360 professional learning solution from School Improvement Network.

Educators willing to share their use of professional development in an effective or unique way are encouraged to submit a proposal to present. Submittals selected will be offered attendance to the conference at a 50% discount, as well as a one year subscription for Observation 360 and a Flip video camera for their school.

To fill out the submission form visit School Improvement Summit Call for Presentations. It must be submitted by April 5, 2011 to be considered. Multiple submissions are welcome. If you have questions, please email presentations(at)schoolimprovement(dot)com.

Attendees will be most interested in hearing:

  •     What was the challenge or issue?
  •     What was innovative about your handling of the issue?
  •     What were the roles and responsibilities of those involved?
  •     What was the impact of your solution, what were the results?
  •     How was PD 360 instrumental in the solution?
  •     How can this be replicated?
  •     How did you plan and implement?
  •     Who participated?
  •     What obstacles did you need to overcome?
  •     How you measured or are measuring the results?
  •     How successful has this been, and what would you do to improve it?

PD 360 has opened the doors for educators and administrators to access best practices in education, with real classroom examples from the top experts. Now, SINET is offering those same experts and authors all in the same venue. Besides sessions on vital school issues, the Innovation Conference will also include hands-on sessions for these School Improvement Network solutions:
