Carolinas IIA will be hosting the Carolinas IIA District Conference between the dates of March 23 -24, 2011. On March 24th, Infogix will be speaking during the Audit Technology Track Sessions. This event is open to members and non-members and will be held at The Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC.

Sumit Nijhawan, Operations Leader
2:45– 4:00PM “Benefits & Pitfalls of Implementing Continuous Controls Monitoring.”

In this session, Sumit Nijhawan, Operations Leader at Infogix, will address the benefits and risks in implementing CM solutions and the key factors to consider when selecting a CM Partner.

Mark Priebe, Product Solutions Specialist
2:45-4:00PM - “Data Warehouse Nirvana: The Critical Role of Information Controls.”

During this session, Mark Priebe, Product Solutions Specialist at Infogix, will address how an automated testing framework can ensure the integrity of data warehouse information through parallel testing of the ETL process in real-time. This approach has been proven effective in detecting and preventing information errors stemming from data complexity, source system changes and data quality issues, process failure, and corruption in reference data.

During this session, attendees can expect to:
         • Learn how to design end-to-end controls to mitigate information risk, thereby lowering costs and improving audit and operational efficiency.
         • Gain insights on how to streamline audit activities using end-to-end controls.
         • Understand a framework for achieving enterprise visibility to ensure the accuracy of information.

Sumit Nijhawan is the Company Operations Leader at Infogix, a software company whose solutions monitors, detect and prevent information errors. Before coming to Infogix, Sumit worked for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, SPSS, Inc., and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sumit received a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics and chemistry from Coe College, a Ph.D. in engineering from Brown University and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

Mark Priebe, CISA, is a Product Solutions Specialist with Infogix, Inc. Mark focuses on scoping and implementation of Information Control solutions throughout Infogix customer base and has designed solutions for many world-class companies. Mark has held numerous sales and implementation roles within Infogix over his 15 year tenure. He holds a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Lewis University.
