From children’s author Marla J.T. Magic comes a delightful tale that the little ones will enjoy and learn from. Pass the Peas!, her recently released picture book made available through Xlibris, imparts the importance of being polite and courteous.
Bella is a little girl who is simply grumpy because she is hungry. Ready for dinner and just couldn’t wait to eat, this four-year-old turns demanding and forgets about the magic word, “Please.” From mashed potatoes to gravy to steak to peas, Bella yells aloud her desire to eat right away. This humorous story serves up mealtime with a slice of rhythm, a scoop of rhyme, and a side of manners.
Lush with amusing illustrations by Ivy Apa, Pass the Peas! is an entertaining read that parents, guardians, and teachers can use as a tool to guide children in minding their conduct and behavior.
This book will be featured at the 2011 Association of College and Researchers Libraries Book Exhibit in Philadelphia, PA, on April 7 to 10, 2011. For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.
