Global Leadership Adventures has the opportunity for high school students to go on life-changing summer programs abroad, offering meaningful teen community service, hands-on learning and cultural immersion in ways that you just can’t get in a classroom.
Global Leadership Adventures’ summer volunteer programs focus on community service and grassroots social movements. Participants learn about working with children, protecting wildlife and the environment, international relations, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and political-economic issues. On weekends, students will go on exciting excursions to places of cultural or historical significance.
Parents of Global Learning Adventures student volunteers discover the rewards their child receives from teen volunteer abroad experiences - confidence, stronger self-esteem, and a global understanding - are immeasurable. Each student grows differently, but they all gain from the service-learning that international volunteering provides. Comments from Global Learning Adventures parents praise the program as “World class in every aspect” and “Thank you for your team’s commitment to our children’s safety; I think you did exceptionally well and it is greatly appreciated.”
Teen volunteers of Global Leadership Adventures will join other globally-minded students in Africa, Latin America, The Galapagos Islands, the Caribbean, China, India and Bali. Applications for summer programs are received through May.
