As head of Symantec consumer marketing, Hintz led a 180-person global team responsible for Norton brand management, social media, e-commerce marketing, web marketing, product marketing, research, PR, advertising, and channel marketing for the $2 billion consumer products business.

Hintz managed Symantec’s Norton consumer brand for a decade, building it into a highly successful consumer brand and one of the most recognized high tech brands in the world. She established the Zuberance-powered Norton Advocate program, which earned the prestigious Forrester Groundswell Award in 2009 as the Best Social Marketing Application in the Energizing B2C category.
