Toyota will begin to produce the Prius car again on Monday in its Japanese plants

Toyota of Naperville is happy to announce that Toyota Motor Corporation announced that it will resume production on Monday March 28, 2011 of the Prius along with the Lexus CT 200h and HS 250h.

Toyota Motor Corporation will resume production of the Prius at their Tsutsumi plant, and the Lexus vehicles will be produced again at Toyota Motor Kyushu.

The announcement comes after just one week ago Toyota restarted production of replacement parts. Toyota has shown tremendous commitment to its consumers and the country of Japan since the aftermath of a devastating tsunami and earthquake that destroyed parts of Japan on March 11.

Toyota Motor Corporation will continue to assess its parts supply as it prepares to restart the production of other vehicle plants in Japan.
