ICF International Awarded New Contract from U.S. Department of Transportation

ICF International wins a five-year, up to $40 million contract from the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide environmental architectural and engineering services support.

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has won a multiple-award ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Research and Innovative Technology Administration, Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to provide environmental architectural and engineering services support. ICF will support the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) compliance area. The contract has a potential capacity of $40 million over a term of five years.

ICF will provide environmental services for NEPA projects outside of New York and New England that address nearly 30 areas of environmental concern, including air quality, safe drinking water, wastewater and stormwater, hazardous and toxic waste management, and endangered species.

The Volpe Center supports work for a variety of sponsors including DOT agencies, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Park Service (NPS), and the military. Project work could include analyzing the potential environmental impacts of air tour management plans developed by NPS and the Federal Aviation Administration, and high-speed rail proposals for the Federal Railroad Administration, among others.
