InventHelp® announces it has signed a licensing agreement for one of its clients’ inventions from California with Dallas Specialty & Manufacturing Company, a member of the InventHelp Data Bank®. In May, the company plans to debut the Acre Ring at the 2011 National Hardware Show in InventHelp-Intromark booth. For over 20 years, Dallas Specialty has manufactured and supplied products to the wholesale plumbing, irrigation, waterworks, tile and home center industries.

The invention, the Acre Ring, ensures that a toilet flange is properly stabilized when the area surrounding the original toilet flange has either rotted away or is not otherwise there. The inventor, a plumber, designed the Acre Ring because it could be installed easily, and without major repairs. The product saves a plumber from having to cut out or rebuild plywood, which prevents the toilet from rocking on the floor. This ensures that the flange is sealed properly.

Dallas Specialty has already performed quotes for tooling and packaging, and plans on manufacturing the Acre Ring within the next six months. They will promote the product on their website and at trade shows, and feature it in their next catalog. The company plans to sell the product wholesale to plumbing stores, plumbers and home center stores. This client has not made a financial gain as a result of this licensing deal. However, Dallas is optimistic that the product may be used by plumbers across North America.

From 2008-2010, we signed Submission Agreements with 4,756 clients. As a result of our services, 86 clients have received license agreements for their products, and 27 clients have received more money than they paid us for these services.
