Larson Electronics announced the addition of a 60 Watt LED spreader light for the boat market. Drawing only 5 amps on 12 volts, the LEDP10W-6E 60 watt LED spreader light delivers 5,160 lumens from a form factor measuring only 11 inches long, 2.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. Featuring 6 CREE MC-E LEDs, integrated pulse width modulation and thermal management, this LED boat light will operate 24/7 for 5.5 years. The watertight LED light is IP68 rated and operates on input voltages ranging from 9-46 Volts DC. The power cord is terminated with a standard watertight connection and a wire harness ships with the light to help the operator complete the installation.
“This 60 watt LED boat light is a durable, long lasting replacement for standard 500 watt quartz deck lights,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com. “We have extensive experience with large commercial fishing fleets and we have learned a great deal about how boat operators use our LED lighting. We have incorporated that knowledge into our latest line of LED boat lights, including the LEDP10W-60E as a spreader light and as a long distance spot light for spotting buoy tapes and markers."
