Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE: CVC) today announced it will carry the expanded 2011 US Open Coverage telecasts in 3D over the Labor Day weekend and the following weekend -- Finals -- for customers with a 3D-capable television set.
CBS Sports again will serve as the host broadcaster for the USTA and Panasonic, producing 3D coverage of the 2011 US Open Tennis Championships shot by ten 3D broadcast cameras and using a high-speed 3Dreplay system.
