These pilots build on the success of our Teacher Observation Pilot Program.
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) April 27, 2011
RANDA Solutions has announced the launch of their new virtual course development pilot program for K12 educators. RANDA will select eight virtual schools throughout the U.S. to participate in the pilot at no cost to the schools.
"These pilots build on the success of our Teacher Observation Pilot Program," says Rod Berger, PsyD and RANDA Solution's Vice President of Education. "The input of our pilot partners always informs our developers with real-world insights. We always improve by listening to educators' input."
RANDA has developed their innovative browser-based virtual toolbox through extensive collaboration with experienced online content development specialists. The result is a web application providing users an intuitive, familiar interface for development of end-to-end courses with feature-rich Flash content. Content specialists without prior Flash development experience can swiftly develop content. Since the RANDA solution can integrate multiple media formats, content experts using the toolbox don't need to start content from scratch. "Our virtual course development toolbox is poised to revolutionize the way educators develop online curriculum," says Marty Reed, RANDA CEO.
The toolbox's file content, once written, can be exported in SCORM-compliant packages which are uploaded to your learning management system host of choice. “We are confident this removes many constraints around developing content. Subject matter experts regain control of their own course content, and do not have to rely on software developers to complete their list of to-dos to get a course out the door and in the hands of end users,” says Berger.
RANDA is accepting applications from K12 virtual education programs across the nation. The eight programs selected will participate at no cost to the piloting districts. Applications are being accepted online at http://www.randasolutions.com/virtual-course-development until May 15, 2011. The eight selected districts will be announced on June 1, 2011.
