Summit Merchant Solutions (Summit) recently relocated from Richardson, Texas to a new, larger building in Carrollton, Texas. The new facilities will allow continued growth and greater training capabilities.

This is the realization of a long-time goal which I think will result in significant growth for us in this next year.

Summit Merchant Solutions (Summit), a sales division of Certified Payment Processing (CPP) has moved from their location in Richardson, Texas to a new building in Carrollton, Texas. The new, larger facility will allow for continued growth.

CPP has a national team of 400 field sales associates throughout the country, as well as an administrative and support staff of nearly 300 people, currently housed in two buildings at separate locations—one in Carrollton and the other in Richardson, Texas. The new building is large enough to bring together the sales division with the extensive inside sales and support staff in one location.

“I believe having everyone under the same roof will bring a renewed synergy for our company,” says Tony Norrie, Vice President and General Manager of Summit. “This is the realization of a long-time goal which I think will result in significant growth for us in this next year.”

CPP has been a leader in the payment processing industry for more than 16 years with a management team that has more than 60 years of industry sales experience. CPP serves more than 40,000 active merchants, with $3 billion in transactions. The products and services offered by Summit are designed to help businesses increase revenue, control costs, improve efficiency, enhance payment processing security and provide their customers with the most popular payment methods.

“I think our consistent growth is the result of providing the right products and services to our merchant clients,” says Norrie. “In this economy, businesses are looking for ways to save money. And they also want to have the most popular payments methods for the convenience of their customers—credit and debit cards, check authorization, ATMs and more. We provide them workable, cost-efficient solutions.”

The new 80,000 square foot facility also includes an extensive video production facilities which will be used to increase the number of online and digital training videos as well as expanded space for ongoing training. There are two 25-person training rooms, a 30-person training room and a 50-person training room, with full audio-visuals enhancements. The long-term goal is to conduct onsite seminars and workshops, as well as produce quality online webinars and digital training materials on essential topics such as sales techniques, management skills, industry security and standards, and in-depth, continuing education on the many products and services offered by Summit.

“We’re committed to providing our sales team with the information and tools they need to prosper and become successful,” says Norrie. “We want to start them off right with the best introductory training. Then, we are working to have a wide array of on-going training opportunities to keep them informed, educated and engaged.”
