Gleanster today announced that Barry Libert and Scott Wilder have joined the market research and advisory firm as research fellows, further expanding Gleanster’s world-class team of subject matter experts.

Barry Libert has spent the last 10 years investing in and founding social media and open innovation companies. He has published five books on the business value of social networks and human interactions. Social Nation, his latest book, examines how businesses can harness the power of social media to attract customers, motivate employees and grow revenue. Libert is a board member of the The SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which focuses on the impact of open and social networks on our society and serves on a number of other boards with social offerings.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president at Edelman Digital, leading the firm’s technology practice in the Bay Area. Before that, he was general manager of online communities at Intuit. Wilder is the co-author of Millennial Leaders. In addition to his work at Gleanster, he serves as founding partner and digital strategist for Human 1.0.
