LogFire, a global provider of supply chain software and services for retail and consumer goods companies, today announced that The Triangle Group, a leading provider of quality end-to-end supply chain logistics solutions, will deploy LogFire’s new Software as a Service (SaaS) warehouse management system (WMS) in two locations. The system will be implemented over a 90-day period at The Triangle Group’s east and west coast facilities.

The Triangle Group manages logistics for over 50 companies, including American Eagle Outfitters, Levi Strauss, and Chico’s. Each customer has a unique set of distribution needs and goals, and according to Caryn Blanc, Managing Partner at the Triangle Group, the flexibility of LogFire’s WMS was a key selling factor. Blanc explains, “As a third party logistics provider, we were looking for an application that could service a broad range of customers. Some of our customers require e-commerce capabilities, while others bring in and ship out full cartons. We really needed to find a system that conformed to the way our customers work; we didn’t want to conform to the way a system worked.”

Launched in 2010, LogFire’s WMS is the industry’s first truly flexible WMS. It is available as both an on-demand service (SaaS) and an on premise solution and is architected to easily integrate with a company’s other business systems. Blanc states, “No company—at least none that I know of—operates only one system. The LogFire solution takes this into account like no other WMS that I have seen. LogFire has truly created what I view to be a new model – one that makes integrating with other systems easy and greatly reduces the cost of moving data throughout the supply chain.”
