New York City’s Leading 24 Hour Printing Company Adds Konica Minolta Digital Press to Increase Productivity and Environmental Sustainability

The new equipment will help ABG Print handle a variety of print projects that require careful color definition and a sharp, high quality finish. To achieve these results, ABG Print selected Japanese company Konica Minolta (http://kmbs.konicaminolta.us) after an extensive and in-depth evaluation of digital print technology.

The new Konica Minolta digital press will give ABG’s customers the opportunity to print materials that yield offset results with clean and solid colors, no striations and discoloration, an effect that is often produced by traditional digital presses. Further, the press’s polymerized toners are designed to come on smooth and flat; the toner also uses a special formula to reproduce ultra-fine image detail.

“We decided to work with Konica Minolta because their equipment supports a wide variety of stocks and textures,” said Mr. Mulligan. “One of our goals this year as a business is to produce more varieties of print media in less time and with less waste and effects to our environment. Konica Minolta is the right choice for this; their research and development aligns with the most up-to-date environmental standards.”
