New Hires Join Trailblazing, Nimble Affiliate Advertising Team Already on Track to Double Company’s Annual Sales

Abacus Affiliates (http://www.abacusaffiliates.net/), the performance-based network that helps advertisers promote through select managed affiliates, today announced the appointment of two accomplished marketing, operations and sales leaders to build on the company’s string of successes. Joining Abacus are Barbara Mayo, the first Director of Affiliate Network for Abacus, and most recently the Senior Affiliate Manager at Adknowledge/Hydra; and Melanie Bever, the company’s new Operations Manager, who previously was the Senior Production Manager at Managed Media Group/Bloosky Interactive.

In joining Abacus, Barbara and Melanie bring experience from some of the field’s leading operations. Barbara’s credits include working as the top producing Senior Affiliate Manager at Adknowledge/Hydra, a CPA and CPC network. Before excelling in affiliate marketing, she was a part of the management team for such online brands as LowerMyBills and ClassesUSA, which are among the leaders in the online acquisition space. Melanie, whose role as the Abacus Operation Manager puts her in charge of supporting sales and technical operations, developed her industry expertise at Managed Media Group/Bloosky Interactive, a full-service direct marketing agency. Previously, Melanie worked for Pacific Sunwear Corporate.

Abacus is on track to double its annual revenue from 2010.
