First American Payment Systems, L.P. announced today that Alan Struble has been named Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

“I believe Alan will be a valuable asset to our executive team,” said Neil L. Randel, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. “The work he has done for us thus far has been exceptional, and I have no doubt he will continue on that path. Alan’s background and experience are a perfect fit for First American.”

Struble, who has represented First American since 2005, has primarily been in private practice since 1992, with a background in commercial litigation. Most recently, Struble was a Partner at Alston + Bird, LLP in Dallas.

“I am looking forward to being a partner with the management team here, doing my part to operate and grow the business,” Struble said.

Struble is a magna cum laude graduate of the Honors College at Western Michigan University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political science. After serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army, Struble then earned his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School.
