EasyTurf recently overhauled its product line with a revolutionary synthetic grass backing that dramatically increases lawn drainage for residential and commercial applications.
MaxxFlow’s unique technology produced a 100 percent porous backing. Liquids flow through the proprietary backing at rates ten times higher than other turf backings. EasyTurf now integrates MaxxFlow into all residential and commercial landscapes.
“We have always supplied superior products and the development of MaxxFlow takes turf drainage to a new level,” said David Hartman, EasyTurf’s President. “Many people find out too late that synthetic grass drainage is vital in landscaping applications. With inferior products, heavy rains cause puddles, and pet owners experience odor build up from their pet waste.”
Most synthetic turf manufacturers punch holes in their backing for drainage. Holes are punched four to six inches apart and leave the majority of the backing non-permeable. Underlying base material often clogs the holes after installation. Additionally, hole-punched turf requires a separate weed barrier and further restricts drainage. MaxxFlow’s built-in weed barrier eliminates the additional drainage restriction.
The integration of MaxxFlow reinforces EasyTurf’s status as the industry leader of innovative, eco-friendly synthetic grass.
In May 2010 EasyTurf, a long-time distributor of FieldTurf’s line of landscaping products and a recognized leader in the artificial grass industry, became the national brand of FieldTurf’s landscape, pets, playground, and golf artificial grass products. The partnership allowed FieldTurf to rapidly expand its existing dealer network and accelerate sales and distribution of FieldTurf’s landscape products on a national level to homeowners, municipalities, schools, businesses and the military.
