Staley Performance Institute Launches Exclusive Coaches Retreat and Certification Series

Titled "Unplugged: Live & Rare Coaches Series," this unique seminar series will feature 8 of the fitness industry's most influential and successful personalities: Robert dos Remedios, Mike Boyle, John Brookfield, Chad Waterbury, Josh Henkin, Diane Vives, Kelli Calabrese, and Robert Yang.

Titled "Unplugged: Live & Rare Coaches Series," this unique seminar series will feature 8 of the fitness industry's most influential and successful personalities: Robert dos Remedios, Mike Boyle, John Brookfield, Chad Waterbury, Josh Henkin, Diane Vives, Kelli Calabrese, and Robert Yang.

This workshop series will he held at the Arizona Grand Resort— minutes away from Phoenix’s Sky Harbor airport, and home to Staley Performance Institute.

During each of these 3-day retreats, attendees will have the opportunity to join the featured presenter and classmates on Friday evening for a meet & greet at Aunt Chiladas Mexican Cantina. Then, participate in (2) three-hour educational sessions on Friday and Saturday. During each retreat, the featured presenter will share his or her philosophies, methods, past mistakes, and best practices for a successful fitness business. The atmosphere will be intimate and informal enough to allow for individualized problem-solving and roundtable discussions, in addition to the speakers prepared topics.
Between sessions, participants can enjoy various amenities available on the resort property, including golf, massages, local shopping and restaurants, and Arizona Grand's popular 7-acre water park.

Robert dos Remedios April 28-May 1st 2011 Coach Robert dos Remedios is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Strength and Conditioning Collegiate Coach (SCCC) as recognized by the CSCC. Author of "Cardio Strength".

Mike Boyle May 12th-May 15th 2011 Michael Boyle is one of the most sought after speakers in the area of performance training and athletic rehabilitation. Author of "Advances In Fuctional Training".

John Brookfield May 19th-May 22nd John Brookfield is internationally known in the world of strength and conditioning as both a coach and competitor. He is a multiple world record holder and author. Creator of "Battling Ropes.

Chad Waterbury June 16th-June 19th Chad Waterbury is a neurophysiologist and author whose unique training methods are used by a wide range of athletes, bodybuilders, figure models, and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and from all walks of life.

Josh Henkin July 21st-July 24th Josh Henkin has been a leader in the fitness and sports performance industry for the past 15 years. Josh has published over 100 articles in the area of fitness and performance based training.

Diane Vives August 10th-14th Diane Vives is the owner of Fit4Austin, a personal training company that uses functional and performance training methodology to get the best possible results for all levels of athletes and fitness clients.

Kelli Calabrese Sept 15th-18th Kelli is an award winning professional who has appeared on CBS, NBC, Fox and other media outlets to provide consumers with the tools for living a life of fitness, wellness and abundance. Kelli is an author, international speaker, consultant and coach specializing in women’s wellness, fitness boot camps, longevity and life management.

Robert Yang Sept 22nd-25th Robert Yang specializes in nutrition, nutritional supplementation, strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and lifestyle coaching. His integrative and individualized programs have helped athletes and individuals improve performance, prevent injuries, and improve health and vitality.

Battling Ropes Certification by John Brookfield May 21, 2011
Guiness World Record Holder John Brookfield will teach his Battling Ropes certification on May 21, 2011. Intended for coaches, competitive athletes, trainers and coaches, this detailed program will outline all aspects of rope training for strength, power, and endurance development. Brookfield will also teach the principles of "velocity training," which he credits for his own fitness prowess at age 47.

Kettlebell Concepts: Introduction to Kettlebell Lifting: Level-1 Certification June 11 -12 2011
Participants will become familiar with the varied applications of kettlebell training as it applies to personal training, semi-private instruction, overall functional and athletic performance enhancement, injury prevention, and fitness business strategies. Attendees will also learn the biomechanical, neurological, and physiological principals of Kettlebell training. Intended for coaches, trainers, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts.

Ultimate Sandbag L.I.F.T. Level 1 Certification-July 23rd & 24th
Coach Joh Henkin will lead a two-day certification class designed to teach the theoretical and practical applications of sandbag training. Sandbags are a novel and practical training tool, allowing a high level of safety, fun, and overall fitness development. Intended for coaches, trainers, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts.

Warriors Certification With Martin Rooney July 28th-31st
Coach and author Martin Rooney will conduct lectures and hands-on sessions covering speed and strength training for combat athletes. The speed day hands on sessions will focus on proper warm ups, linear speed training drills, change of direction agility drills and the concept of deceleration training. The strength day hands on sessions will focus on body weight strength exercises, isometric work, hip and leg training and advanced work with physioballs and barbells.

The warrior day hands on session will focus on circuit training, "Hurricane Training" from the Training For Warriors system, bar complexes and more.
