Nashville company providing scholarships for students to attend educational summer camp

Nashville-based Health IT firm iPractice Group is proud to announce that it will sponsor Longview Elementary School students to attend Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee’s BizTown summer camp. The program offers 4th-6th grade students the chance to participate in a two-week simulation of the adult world.

Interacting in a life-size replica of a real town, children apply and expand their knowledge of social studies, math, economics, and other subjects. The town includes fully furnished offices, retail stores, broadcast stations, a newspaper, bank, and city hall. Students gain insight on what it takes to operate a business, balance a checkbook, and hold elected office.

iPractice Group’s contribution will provide ten student scholarships for Longview, a Spring Hill school that belongs to the Williamson County School system. Support of the BizTown program adds to the company’s growing involvement in the Middle Tennessee community, which also includes an Employer-in-Residence partnership with Belmont University, and principal sponsorship of the Hume-Fogg High School baseball team. iPractice Group is passionate about supporting organizations that share its values of enthusiasm, achievement, and entrepreneurship.
