Crucifying Christianity

I saw many people suffer without the knowledge of our heavenly Father’s love and the salvation for all that Jesus died to give us

For hundreds of years the Christian church has been divided, leaving a watered-down witness for a world it was commissioned to turn “upside down.” When the church heeds the call to be united by the Holy Spirit, it will know that God exists, writes author Michael Disciple in Crucifying Christianity ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-61215-417-6; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-61215-242-4). The choice is clear: We must live to share the Light of Christ or live in darkness, ruled by sin.

After a personal “burning bush” experience, Disciple says he learned how to truly seek God’s heart, and when he surrendered to His call God “poured these words and books into my heart.” The book also sprang out of a life experience of being a firefighter for 30 years. “I saw many people suffer without the knowledge of our heavenly Father’s love and the salvation for all that Jesus died to give us,” says Disciple. “I have seen firsthand the devil’s work: death, despair, and destruction—physically and spiritually—wondering all the while if those I was serving were in God’s Book of Life.”

Disciple writes that the only way to fight hellfire is to know the “fire of God, His Holy Spirit.” As he notes, “I have experienced all this life has to offer and have tasted what God has prepared for us. Finite rocks compared to infinite diamonds. My sole purpose in life is to show others how to find the heart of our Savior so the body of Christ will be the Bride preparing the way for His return.”
