CEITEC S.A., a Brazilian company that develops and produces application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), today announced that Geoff H. Grace has been named the company’s RFID Program Manager.
Grace, most recently supply management and subcontractor services SME for EcoSyz in California’s Silicon Valley, is an expert in the semiconductor industry as well as global back-end subcontractor services supporting major U.S., European and Asian clients.
“We are delighted to add Geoff to our growing team,” said Cylon Gonçalves da Silva, CEO, CEITEC S.A. “He is highly experienced in executive operations and execution-systems implementation for manufacturing and has a 20-year track record of delivering excellence in fabless semiconductor operations from design through manufacturing, assembly and testing of complex semiconductor, ASIC and SOC IC solutions.”
Among other positions, Grace also served as senior supplier development program manager for California’s Finisar Corp., managing the firm’s external semiconductor ASIC and IC foundry relationships driving TQM. He holds a B.A. in economics and B.S.E.E from the University of Dublin (Trinity College).
