The membership of the Navy League compliments our core constituents and further validates our mission to deliver best in class financial products to all of DoD and the service organizations that support the U.S. military.
Alexandria and Arlington, VA (Vocus/PRWEB) April 11, 2011
[Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PenFed) announced today that their membership charter now includes the employees and voting members of the Navy League of the United States.
The partnership between the two organizations is a natural fit. The Navy League is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating U.S. citizens about the importance of sea power to U.S. national security, and supports the men and women of the sea services – the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and United States-flag Merchant Marine – and their families.
“The League is proud to partner with PenFed,” says Kevin Traver, Senior Director of Corporate Relations, Navy League. “Both of our organizations are truly committed to the military communities we represent and serve; and now the ability to now extend the valuable financial services that the credit union offers to our League membership, is a wonderful opportunity indeed.”
The arrangement between the two organizations allows PenFed to stay on target with their mission that allows them to diversify their membership charter, and create new opportunities for the credit union to serve others in the military community while stimulating overall growth.
“The membership of the Navy League compliments our core constituents and further validates our mission to deliver best in class financial products to all of DoD and the service organizations that support the U.S. military,” says Roderick Mitchell, Chief Operating Officer, PenFed. “Ahoy! Welcome aboard to the League, and the outstanding group of individuals they serve.”
