Harborside Press, LLC, is pleased to announce the launch of Harborside Interactive, a new multimedia division within its company. Frank Buchner, who has joined Harborside Press as its Chief Technology Officer, will lead this new division.

Harborside Interactive is a developer of digital solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and manufacturing industries, as well as medical media companies. Harborside Press’ wealth of experience in the medical communications field, along with its excellent relationships with some of the most important clinicians and organizations in oncology, makes Harborside Interactive uniquely positioned to understand the relationship between clients and their intended audience.

The employees of Harborside Interactive have experience in Web development, mobile application production, content management systems, relational database administration, clinician- and patient-targeted communications, closed-loop marketing, online CE/CME, virtual meeting and convention solutions, mobile- and PC-based gaming, social network based strategies, and analytics, as well as working with internal and external regulatory requirements.

Harborside Press is the publisher of JNCCN--The Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, The ASCO Post, and the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology.

Leading Harborside Interactive will be Frank Buchner, formerly the Chief Technical Officer of Euro RSCG Life in New York, NY. In this position, Mr. Buchner oversaw the information architecture, project management, flash development, database, quality assurance, and programming staff of his former company. He also developed applications (desktop and web) for company staff. Before joining Euro RSCG Life, Mr. Buchner was the Research and Development Manager for PRR, Inc., one of the leading publishers of oncology-specific journals and newspapers in the world.
