Booyah is not your typical agency – we provide a level of data and operational transparency not offered anywhere else. We offer simple contracts and distinguish ourselves by being smart, fair, affordable experts.

Booyah Online Advertising, a Denver-based boutique ad agency, recently announced the appointment of Troy Lerner to President. Lerner previously oversaw the strategic direction of Booyah as Vice-president and will continue his leadership as President. In his time at Booyah, Lerner has been a key player in the company becoming the largest online advertising agency in the Rocky Mountain region, responsible for the online advertising needs of several prominent clients, including DISH Network, Teleflora, Vail Resorts, Qdoba, Dirt Devil, Vitamin Shoppe and Little Tikes. Lerner will replace Michael Shehan, who is now fully focused on serving as CEO & President of sister company SpotXchange.

“Booyah is not your typical agency – we provide a level of data and operational transparency not offered anywhere else. We offer simple contracts and distinguish ourselves by being smart, fair, affordable experts. Our clients pay us for taking the time to deeply understand their business so we can get better, smarter results” Lerner said. “I am thrilled to have helped grow Booyah to the agency of choice in the Rocky Mountains and look forward to expanding our footprint in the years to come.”

Founded in 2001, Booyah initially focused primarily on paid search and inclusion. Lerner joined Booyah in 2005 with the charter to develop the Company’s online advertising agency services practice. Lerner brought deep agency expertise to Booyah from his previous post as a senior strategy manager at Avenue A/Razorfish. With Booyah and SpotXchange founders Mike Shehan and Steve Swoboda, Lerner grew Booyah Online Advertising to offer a full range of online advertising agency services, employ 30 people and manage more than $50 million annually.

Lerner also recently joined the Boulder Digital Works faculty as an online advertising lecturer and is also an advisor for video ad marketplace SpotXChange. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in economics and American government.
