Author Ellah Kandi has always had a passion for cooking. For her, cooking is a labour of love and she shares this love to all through the heavenly recipes of her newly published cookbook, El-Ellah Multi Cultural Cuisines.
Before the author became a professional cook, she tried cooking on her own, practicing through different recipe books but the end product was a poor reflection of what was in the recipe book. It was not until she found a cooking mentor—the Bishop of her Church—that she learned a great deal of what cooking is. The Bishop, being a promoter of healthy eating and natural ingredients, instilled in her not just cooking techniques and methods but also confidence and eagerness. And this is all reflected in the pages of this cookbook.
From food hygiene tips to help in the kitchen preparation and preservation of food to knowing the high risk foods, from cleaning and disinfecting to good health, from food recipes to thorough methods and processes, El-Ellah Multi Cultural Cuisines covers important cooking topics and themes. Included in this book are recipes for appetizers, soups, fish and seafood, meat, rice and pasta, vegetables and salad, pies, puddings, and so much more.
