Denver, Colorado, USA (PRWEB) April 21, 2011
LCI English Center, located in Denver, Colorado, USA, is pleased to announce the receipt of accreditation from the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) for its English language programs. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions.
Mariano Descalzi, LCI President, stated “CEA’s prestigious accreditation confirms LCI’s commitment to providing high quality English programs for students seeking Academic, General and Business English instruction. We are proud of earning the distinction of CEA’s accreditation.”
CEA’s accreditation review process included review of all aspects of LCI’s programs (including its mission, curriculum, student services, student support, finances, facilities, and administration) to meet CEA’s fifty-two rigorous standards. LCI prepared and submitted an extensive report to CEA and underwent an onsite thorough review by experts in the field of ESL instruction.
LCI becomes one of fewer than 100 schools worldwide to earn CEA’s accreditation. There are only four other schools in the State of Colorado with this distinction.
CEA's mission is to promote excellence in the field of English language teaching and administration through accreditation of intensive English language programs and institutions worldwide. CEA achieves its mission by using widely-held standards to foster continuous program development through a rigorous process of regular self-assessment and peer evaluation.
