If you have a product that you want to promote to college-educated males age 21-35, the WSOBP is the event for you.
Las Vegas (PRWEB) April 21, 2011
BPONG.COM, the Center of the Beer Pong Universe™ and home to The World Series of Beer Pong®, is pleased to announce new opportunities for sponsors to gain exposure among the growing international sport of beer pong. A range of packages are available to give start-up companies and major brands alike the opportunity to participate before, during and after the seventh annual World Series of Beer Pong (WSOBP VII™), to be held Jan. 1-5, 2012, in Las Vegas. To request sponsorship package details, please email: sponsorship(at)bpong(dot)com.
“Celebrating its seventh consecutive year, The World Series of Beer Pong is well past its growing pains and poised to entertain sponsorship requests – large and small,” said Billy Gaines, founding partner of BPONG.COM. “The sport of beer pong has transcended the college fraternity arena to become an international sport. The event, which has experienced continued growth in terms of participants and onlookers, shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.”
Sponsorship opportunities range from $25,000 on the high end for identification as the one and only “Title Sponsor” of the WSOBP VII to “Official WSOBP VII Program” advertising opportunities starting at only $50. One of the most fitting opportunities is the “Official Beer Sponsor” of the WSOBP VII event. Priced at $10,000, it gives domestic or international beer brands recognition on promotional materials, outreach to registered players and rights as the only beer served for gaming at the WSOBP VII events at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel & Casino. Other great ways to get involved include sponsorship of the side events targeting single ladies and international players, among others. Other sponsorships include “Gold” and “Silver” packages, featuring logo placement, social media outreach, vendor booth space and more. Companies can also promote and sell their products via “Vendor Booth” opportunities, with packages starting at $1,500.
“This is one of the most exciting and innovative sporting event opportunities I’ve come across in my more than 15 years in sales and sponsorship management,” said Jenny Esno, BPONG.COM sales and sponsorship consultant. “Sponsors have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this new sponsorship program to promote their products to the rapidly expanding international beer pong audience, which is on the cusp of becoming a mainstream sport.”
Esno adds that if you have a product that you want to promote to college-educated males age 21-35, the WSOBP is the event for you. Interested sponsors can email sponsorship(at)bpong(dot)com to request a WSOBP VII 2012 sponsorship deck. Esno adds that there is a range of other opportunities, including Media Room, Swag Bag and a la cart sponsorships. Companies who have a unique idea are encouraged to make a suggestion.
Those unfamiliar with the sport of beer pong may be surprised to know that it has become popular with celebrities, baby boomers and college students alike. Last year’s WSOBP event drew over 2,000 participants plus spectators from 48 U.S. states, six Canadian provinces, and nine countries. The 2012 tournament is expected to attract a range of teams from Las Vegas locals to as far away as Japan, Russia and Paraguay, competing for a shot at the $65,000 in total prize money.
