INFINITT Europe, a subsidiary of INFINITT, achieved another milestone recently with the contract signing with Kliniken Maria Hilf in Mönchengladbach, Germany, to provide INFINITT PACS and Xelis Fusion, advanced 3D diagnosis support solution.
The hospital, located in the western region of Germany, was opened in 1908 by the Franciscan Sisters of Germany as the first special hospital for tuberculosis patients. In 1960, the “St. Francis Sanatorium” was converted to a general hospital and the facilities have been modernized in recent decades to include advanced technology.
The INFINITT PACS solution at Maria Hilf Hospital will span one main hospital and two satellite hospitals connected with a caching server. The major competitor for this project was a local HIS & PACS vendor; winning this contract is an indication that INFINITT solutions are becoming more recognized in the region. It is also the second reference site for INFINITT Europe with HL7 connectivity to ImedOne Hospital Information System (HIS) of Tieto Deutschland GmbH.
